In 2010, Anything Goes!

Lately it seems that everyone's talking about how we all used to travel more for business and pleasure. We'd jet off to luxurious suroundings and then come back to our "normal" homes. Well, those that know me realize that I've always felt the greatest luxury in the world can be your home itself. This newsletter is all about giving you some tips to help point you in the right direction.

2010 is going to be the "Anything Goes" year! Just like on the high fashion runway we're seeing lots of glitz! Woven Silvers and Gold translate well to sheer, gauzy fabrics and our new hand stamped Metallic Leathers are amazing! Graphics, Indian Influence, Botanicals and Juicy Citrus colors are being written about in magazines in Boca Raton and everywhere throughout .

Inspiration - Use your imagination, browse through the library and magazines. Look at colors, textures, even shiny pennies can be inspiration for a wall color or furniture finish. I guess some of us see things differently...thankfully or it would be easier for everyone else to do exactly what we do, but if you take a deep breath relax and really take in your surroundings, you might be very surprised at the ideas you come up with for how you want to live in your surroundings in the community of The Oaks.

Yellows, Limes and Oranges - Okay, we're not just talking fabrics! The are some (favorite word here) SPECTACULAR, luscious crystal chandeliers out there. Fabulous lighting fixtures abound! We are so excited about what we have to choose from now! Light up your world in a whole new way...take your room from o.k. to electric!!! The products out there are showing up in a whole new way!!! There just can't be too much color...These colors should POP!!! Don't just brighten up your room, brighten up your mood the minute you walk in

Indian or Botanical - Okay, so it's another chandelier yet again; BUT can you believe how gorgeous these are? They work soooo well with some of the updated floral prints. By updated I mean that the best fabrics seem to have a cleaner, crisper look to them now. The color combos are exciting and new! There are sky blues mixed with reds, reds against crisp white linen mixed with chocolate browns. The Indian prints are also looking new...with added shimmer on some and rich grape tones on white . Pattern on patterns are available in almost all the colors in the rainbow! How can you go wrong? You just have to take the leap. I did and went black on black, with tapestried animals and (oh yes, did I tell you) animal prints everywhere! THEY'RE BACK! Give yourself permission to experiment and just have fun! Better yet, let us take the stress off and do it for you!
